Students and teacher discussed the Career Research Paper which is found on Pgs. 20-22 of the Senior Exhibition Handbook. Students began doing research on the jobs that they plan to cover. They also began writing an outline, which is due next time in class. Students should follow standard outline format and lightly go over each of the points on Pg. 21 from the introduction to the conclusion.

Students did Journal #7 - You may be familiar w/ the show criminal minds that follows a FBI criminal behavior profiling team and that unlike other shows, focuses on the criminal. Take the role of the profiler and analyze the monster based on his actions and crimes committed thus far in the novel. Come up with your own questions and answers related to his looks, his dress, how he carries himself, his speech, where he was born/how he was raised, motivations, redeeming qualities, personality flaws, objects he holds dear (and why), secrets, aliases, and accomplices.
Students did News Article #3 Students finished the film from last week. Students re-read chapters 15-16 if they hadn't already, but were assigned to read 15-19 for the remainder of the class period. They had the option of reading in groups or individually. A test on 15-19 will be next time. |
